April 2024
The Teddies and assistants have been busy. Parts of the new station have been built and some parts have been painted.
The rest of the building work is progressing.
GOOD NEWS The Teddies are happy to announce the arrival of a new engine. Currently named Saxon unless they come up with a better idea.
June 2024
The Teddies and assistants have been busy. The new diorama has been painted on plastic sheets as the old wooden one was beginning to disintegrate.
Painted and installed by the beginning of June.
November 2024
Sadly the original Signal box (below left), based on that at Horstead Keynes Station, has started to break apart. It was one of the early moulded resin buildings.
Thus a new model is in progress. The new version will be based on Hampton Loade Signal Box (Severn Valley Railway) and will be entirely 3D printed. The design is being created on the computer though still needs the walls and doors to be added. So far, a basic framework has been printed to check the size of the model.
December 2024
Most of the new signal box has been printed and the last few bits are in progress.
This is the latest 3D design of the model, with some work still needed on the roof.
