The Buildings and models on the line

This page features the buildings and models, some from kits and others designed and built by us.

Church

One of our first model buildings in 2014.  

Built from a kit and painted to fit.

Pub and Shop

Designs based on various buildings photographed during trips away.

The pub was made in 2016 and the shop in 2017.

Walls made in resin moulds. Roof from plastic sheets.

Made in 2015 from resin using a complicated home made mould.


Water Tower

Alyn Central Station

The station building was made from a kit - a whole model of Cwrsws Station in Wales.

The kit was split to make 2 sets of half relief buildings, parts of which are no longer in use.

A new, 3D printed station building is in the process of being built.


Castle

The model is made from resin using a selection of home made moulds.

Originally it had outside walls only but a keep was added when it was moved to this location.

Windmill

The main walls were made from resin using moulds. The rest of the model was 3D Printed and painted.

“Windy Miller” was found online and 3D printed.

Signal Box

Made from resin using moulds.

A new, 3D printed signal box  is being built

Walldale Station

The station building was made from one side of the kit used for the original Alyn Central Station
