Phase 9- Track Changes
The siding beside the station was turned to a through way and an extra siding added. This worktook place during 2022.
The village was developed further.
The 2022 Line changes involved turning the siding alongside the platform into a through run with an access point for loading the steam trains onto the track.
A small siding was also added on the other side.
Phase 10- Track Changes
The plan shows the layout of the track.
A new siding has been added (in a different direction of travel) at the end of Alyn Central’s platforms near the signal box.
Planters have been removed in order to make this change and are now beds that are lower down. This work took place at the beginning of 2023.
The 2023 Line changes involved removing the plant boxes and digging up part of the path.
A new siding has now been added at the end of the platform with a different direction of travel.
Other work done at this point includes development of the village and addition of various people, buildings and features.
